Duties included the creation of a package shipping kiosk for hotels, airports and business centers without the need of a store front. Customers could easily ship packages using all major shipping providers. This included customer facing design, web services for processing credit cards and requesting shipper API data, and a backend reports system for clients.
  • Designed and developed web based package shipping kiosk that offered a start-to-finish service for generating shipping labels and package shipping costs for airports, business centers and UPS stores.
  • Developed an ASP.Net web service for two-way communication with all major packages shipping APIs for package shipping costs, package tracking, reporting and payment processing.
  • Continued support of legacy software and migration from ASP Classic and Cold Fusion to ASP.Net for several web applications, web services and desktop application.

I developed Kiosk Controls, a software suite, with the intention of licensing it to consumers. Kiosklogix purchased the software outright and I joined the company as the lead software developer. In addition to software development, I oversaw existing kiosk and wireless network locations worldwide, deployed new kiosk locations within Kiosklogix network, and deployed new networks for outside clients including Nintendo, Hilton and the US Army.
  • Developed applications from concept to production ranging from AAA RADIUS deployments to kiosk monitoring and management solutions.
  • Created a web based kiosk monitoring and management tool for tracking kiosks deployed around the world. Features included real time tracking of problems, push technology for digital signage and remote updating.
